Hi there! I’m Katie.
With over two decades of experience in Magnet and nursing leadership, I’ve had the opportunity to lead and influence a variety of healthcare organizations, helping them achieve and sustain Magnet Recognition and nursing excellence. My journey has taken me from the front lines of clinical nursing to executive leadership roles, where I’ve spearheaded initiatives that have transformed nursing practices, improved patient outcomes, and empowered nurse leaders to excel.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked with a variety of organizations — from large academic medical centers pursuing Magnet designation to small community hospitals developing sustainable nursing excellence strategies. I’ve consulted on everything from large-scale program development to specific, project-based challenges, always bringing a focus on practical, actionable solutions that deliver real results.

Getting started is simple. You can purchase a session package directly through our online platform. After your booking, we’ll work with you to understand your needs and tailor the sessions accordingly. If you have documents or specific topics to discuss, you can submit those in advance to ensure our time together is as productive as possible.

Absolutely. You can submit anything from a Magnet GAP Analysis to a Shared Governance outline. Any format is acceptable; PDF, Word, Excel, PPT, etc. Once your session is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation email outlining how to send in any documents you need reviewed.
We ask that documents be submitted at least 48 hours before your session to ensure Dr. Stephens has adequate time to review and prepare.
Please be aware; time spent by KSC reviewing, editing, or writing on behalf of the client will be deducted from the purchased session package. Please plan accordingly when submitting extensive documents for review.

On-site services are billed separately at our standard day rate, which is detailed in our fee schedule.
